Dr. G. Naveen Babu is an accomplished academician with an extensive educational background and a wealth of experience in the field of electrical engineering. He holds a BE, ME, PhD, and PDF degrees, which were conferred upon him in 2002, 2004, 2013, and 2015, respectively. Dr. Naveen joined Shiv Nadar University in 2011 as a founding faculty member in the department of Electrical Engineering. During his tenure, he served as the coordinator/Head of the electrical department until 2014 that offered EEE and ECE majors.
In pursuit of further research opportunities, Dr. Naveen relocated to the University of Alberta in Canada in 2014 to undertake a postdoctoral fellowship in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. After completing his postdoctoral work, he returned to Shiv Nadar University, where he currently holds a position.
Dr. Naveen's research primarily focuses on Microwave Tubes, antennas, and related areas. His expertise has resulted in the publication of more than 40 internationally and nationally recognized papers, alongside authoring over 10 influential textbooks. Notably, his research publications have been featured in prestigious journals with a Reuters Thomson impact factor of 5.324.
With a teaching and research career spanning over 18 years, Dr. Naveen has garnered profound knowledge and honed his skills in the realm of electrical engineering. He has had the privilege of visiting various renowned universities and schools, where he delivered special lecture series on electromagnetics. As a testament to his commitment to education, his lecture series on electromagnetics with ufaber limited has been recorded, allowing aspiring Master's students to benefit from his expertise.
Dr. Naveen's contributions have earned him recognition as a distinguished researcher in the field of electromagnetics and TWT. Moreover, he has received invitations to present his work at numerous academic institutions, further establishing his reputation. As a testament to the impact of his research, his publications have accumulated approximately 120 citations.
Dr. Naveen's comprehensive background, outstanding publications, and extensive experience make him a highly respected figure in the field of electrical engineering.
