Dr. Himani Sikarwar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. She completed her PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur under the supervision of Dr. Debasis Das. Her research focuses on advanced security solutions for large-scale and highly dynamic Internet of Vehicles (IoV), hardware security, Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs), and secure intelligent communication systems.
Building on this foundation, her research has evolved toward designing secure and intelligent frameworks for next-generation connected transportation systems. A significant milestone in this journey is the award of a Prime Minister’s Early Career Research Grant (PM-ECRG) from the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).
Complementing her research contributions, Dr. Sikarwar has built a strong academic presence through publications in reputed international journals and conferences, including leading IEEE Transactions such as IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management (TNSM), IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing (TDSC), IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems (TITS), and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (TVT). In addition, she has actively engaged in international research collaborations with the University of Padua, Italy, working with Prof. Mauro Conti, and the National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, working with Prof. Chun-I Fan.
