Program Structure
The student is required to work in an area aligned with the current research interests of the faculty in the Department. For multidisciplinary research work, approval of the Departmental Research Committee is required. The research interests of the current faculty members in Computer Science and Engineering span the following emerging domains:
• Algorithms and Complexity
• Data Science and Engineering
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Security and Privacy, and
• Wireless, Mobile Computing, and Networking
The students enrolled in the Ph.D. program need to complete a minimum of 12 credits of core courses along with elective and bridge courses as recommended by the research committee.
