About the Trainer: DR. KANNAN B. T. obtained his Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras for his research thesis on Turbulent Jets. His areas of expertise include Fluid Mechanics, Aerodynamics (Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial), Turbulence, Heat Transfer and CFD (OpenFOAM® and ANSYS-FLUENT®). His research outcomes have been published in reputed journals and conference proceedings. He also serves as a Reviewer for high profile international journals. He has been awarded with "Best Paper Award" in ICCHMT-2015. As a freelance trainer, he has trained various undergraduate and postgraduate students in CFD and OpenFOAM. He has also guided students for their B.E. and M.E. projects as an external guide. He has also delivered Invited/Guest Lectures including Faculty Development Program for Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. His lecture topics include CFD, Heat Transfer and Experimental Methods in Fluid Mechanics.
