SNU and YunTech have an agreement to develop academic and cultural interchange in education and research. The scope of agreement includes student and faculty exchange, short-term academic programmes, staff development projects and joint research.
About National Yunlin University of Science & Technology
Founded in 1991, the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) has become a university paradigm for other technological universities nationwide under the leadership of the former presidents and Dr Yang Neng-Shu. YunTech is a flagship technological university with five colleges, the College of Engineering, College of Management, College of Design, College of Humanities and Applied Sciences and College of Future. These four colleges account for 22 undergraduate, 26 masters and 13 doctoral programs. The student population is approximately 10,000, 68 per cent of whom are undergraduates and 32 per cent post-graduates. Among the distinguished faculty of the university, over 90 per cent hold doctoral degrees and 98 per cent have reached the position of assistant professor or above.
