Professor Parthapratim Munshi, Ph.D. FRSC, Department of Chemistry appointed Co-Editor of the "Journal of Applied Crystallography"

Professor Parthapratim Munshi, Ph.D. FRSC, Department of Chemistry, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar University, has been appointed Co-Editor of the "Journal of Applied Crystallography", published by the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr). The peer-reviewed scientific journal is the primary place where crystallographic computer program information is published.

Professor Munshi is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), London. He is a recipient of the Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship within the 7th European Community Framework Programme, France, and the Research Excellence Award by Shiv Nadar University.

He has authored a number of academic papers and delivered more than 30 talks at national and international conferences. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the "Journal of Molecular Structure", Elsevier; the Advisory Board of the "CrystEngComm" journal published by the Royal Society of Chemistry; and the Commission on Quantum Crystallography (QCr) of the IUCr.
