Also, the thermal processes help in removing various types of material defects. This laboratory is equipped with a high-temperature microwave furnace along with various other furnaces where the temperature of the samples can be reached up to 1700oC.

Microwave Furnace works up to 1500oC (VB Ceramics, India).

Muffle Furnace operates up to 1700oC (Metrex, India).

Split tube furnace works up to 1100oC (Metrex, India).

Split tube furnace runs up to 1400oC (Metrex, India).
