Trade and Environment Group (TEG)
TEG
The TEG is a dedicated hub for research, dialogue, and policy engagement at the intersection of international trade and environmental sustainability. We explore how trade policies impact ecological outcomes and how environmental regulations shape trade flows, with a special focus on developing economies and climate-vulnerable regions. The Group aims to inform global and national strategies that align economic growth with environmental stewardship.
About Us
The TEG is a multidisciplinary research and policy platform committed to exploring the dynamic interactions between global trade and environmental outcomes. Situated within the economics department at SNIoE, the Group brings together economists, environmental scientists, legal scholars, and policy practitioners to address pressing questions at the nexus of trade liberalization, ecological degradation, climate change, and sustainable development.
Our Vision
To foster inclusive and sustainable trade systems that uphold environmental integrity while promoting economic resilience and social justice.
