Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
The Department offers a total of six full-time Ph.D. positions. Specializations are offered in Power system stability integrated with renewable energy and storage, RF and Microwave (Electromagnetics, Antenna) Engineering, Signal Processing and Communication, VLSI Circuit design, Wireless mobile communication and networks, and Advanced Semiconductor Devices / MEMS Devices.

Program Structure
The student is required to work in an area aligned with the current research interests of the faculty in the Department. Students enrolled in the Ph.D. program are required to complete a minimum of 12 credits and a maximum of 20 credits, depending on their eligibility at the time of application. These credits include the courses as recommended by the Research Committee.
