Ph.D. in Economics
The Department of Economics at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence would like to announce that admissions into the Ph.D. (Economics) program are now open for the academic year 2025-26. The areas of expertise of faculty members in the Economics Department include development economics, economic growth, environmental economics, game theory and information economics, industrial organization, labor economics, macroeconomics, political economy, and public economics.

Program Structure
The first few semesters of the Ph.D. program involve coursework. After completing the coursework, students are expected to work on their thesis. The Department has a vibrant faculty with varied research interests offering graduate students the option of working in a wide range of exciting fields.
