B.Sc. (Research) in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics

The Bachelor of Science by Research in Biotechnology program equips students with a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of biotechnology. A well-rounded curriculum equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue careers in research, industry, or further academic study.

At the undergraduate (UG) level, we offer two programs for BSc Research in Biotechnology(3 + 1 year as per the National Education Policy, with the final year for research project).

Currently, 170 undergraduate students are enrolled, with ample opportunities for research engagement and publication in peer-reviewed journals. Our flexible curriculum allows students to combine majors and minors according to their interests, preparing them for future careers in life sciences or any other chosen field.
