Shiv Nadar University takes the top spot in the private domain under Careers 360 Young Universities Ranking 2023



Shiv Nadar University ranked number one as India’s Best Young University (Private) by Careers 360 Young Universities Ranking 2023. It is also ranked 1 as the Best Multidisciplinary Young University (Private). For STEM, Shiv Nadar ranks 7, just after the IITs and ICT.

The ranking serves as a testament to Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence being on an accelerated path to emerge as a world-class research-based, multidisciplinary institution. No sooner than Shiv Nadar IoE took its first steps back in 2011, its innovative approach, state-of-the-art facilities and nurturing environment helped in ensuring a fertile ground for students to flourish. With every passing year, the university's reputation has only grown stronger.

Methodology as described by Careers 360: This year’s Young Universities Ranking has been compiled from 827 degree-awarding institutions, that have been established from 2008 onwards. The final 500 shortlisted universities made it to the rankings. After data analysis and verification, the 100 best institutions were ultimately picked for the overall ranking. These include 60 public and 40 private universities. The rest have been categorized based on their domain and ranked. The domain-specific rankings are also based on the overall score of the institute. The STEM institutes category includes institutions that offer science, technology, engineering, and mathematics courses.

The nine domains that have been considered for rankings are Agriculture and Allied Sciences, Engineering, Law, Management, Medicine, Multidisciplinary institutions, Pharmacy, Specialty, and Science.
