Shiv Nadar University Squash Stars Set to Shine at Khelo India Youth Games 2024 in Tamil Nadu

We are proud to announce that Meyyappan L, Abhay S Vasudev, and Cheazerina Benjamin from Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence have been selected for the upcoming Khelo India Youth Games 2024 in Tamil Nadu, showcasing their excellence in squash. With over 5,000 athletes participating, this marks the sixth edition of the flagship event, commencing on January 19 and extending until January 31. Best of luck to our talented squash stars!

About Khelo India

Khelo India is a national program for the development of sports in India. The program's goal is to promote India as a top athletic nation, provide a solid foundation for all the sports practiced in the country, and give a chance to all young talents to come into the limelight.

Khelo India Youth Games

The Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) are annual, national-level, multi-disciplinary sports competitions for students in India. The games are for students under 17 years old and under 21 years old and are held in January or February. The games' primary objective is to identify, nurture, and develop young sporting talents. The games began in 2018 with 18 sports, including athletics, archery, badminton, basketball, and more. In 2020, the games included 20 sports. As of March 2023, the games include 22 sports and five indigenous sports.
