Khelo India Youth Games

The Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) are annual, national-level, multi-disciplinary sports competitions for students in India. The games are for students under 17 years old and under 21 years old and are held in January or February. The games' primary objective is to identify, nurture, and develop young sporting talents. The games began in 2018 with 18 sports, including athletics, archery, badminton, basketball, and more. In 2020, the games included 20 sports. As of March 2023, the games include 22 sports and five indigenous sports.
