SNU Sports League Basketball was conducted from the 13th - 16th of March, by the Department of Physical Education. The tournament had 4 teams BULLS, PANTHERS, PHOENIX & FALCONS competing for glory. The First day saw the PANTHERS take on PHOENIX, and BULLS take on FALCONS with PANTHERS and BULLS winning their respective matches. After 3 days of hard-fought games, the knockout stage was set. PANTHERS winning all 3 of their games moved straight into the Final. This set up an eliminator match between the BULLS and PHOENIX. With a place in the Finals on the line both teams played their hearts out. BULLS edged out a 3-point victory decided in the last few seconds of the match. The stage was set for an amazing final. PANTHER’s vs BULLS was an eccentric match with a fabulous display of offense and defines by either side. BULLS emerged victorious getting the better of their opponents in the second half of the match. This tournament was a platform for the students to express not only their physical abilities but also their leadership quality, showcase performance in pressure situations and adjust to tackle different obstacles.
