Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR, conferred honorary doctorate upon Ms. Neelam Dhawan, Board Member at Royal Philip Netherlands, ICICI Bank, Yatra Online, Skylo Technologies, and IIIT Delhi, at its sixth Convocation Ceremony on 24 July 2021.

Ms. Dhawan with over 38 years of experience in leading Information technology businesses has created an iconic status for herself. She has held leadership positions in organizations like HCL, IBM, Compaq, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard. She has served as Managing Director of Microsoft India and Hewlett-Packard Globalsoft. Currently, she serves in the board of several institutions including Royal Philips, ICICI Bank in India, Skylo Technologies, Capita PLC, and Yatra Online.

Ms. Dhawan featured in Fortune’s global list of the ‘50 Most Powerful Women in Business’ in 2009 and has been listed among India’s ‘Top Inspirational Women Leaders’ by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Ms. Dhawan has been on the executive council of the National Association of Software and Service Companies, a non-governmental trade association and advocacy group focused on information technology and business process outsourcing.

Ms. Dhawan holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
