Recent collaborative research work on organic ferroelectric materials from Chemistry & Informatics @SNU is accepted for publication as a communication in Chemical Communication - Royal Society of Chemistry’s most cited journal!

Highlights of this work are:

1. first report of a novel single-component all-organic molecular ferroelectric system with high yet stable polarization and low coercive field.

2. discovery of a molecular ferroelectric crystal with highest thermal stability.

3. first report of polymorphism in a single-component molecular ferroelectric crystal.

4. this material is likely to find potential applications in microelectronic devices pertaining to non-volatile memory.
