Weekend Workshops For Undergraduate Students: CRISPR Technology In Gene Editing

With a goal of emphasizing and honing problem-solving skills while developing technical skills in life science undergraduate students, we are offering weekend workshops on the theme of CRISPR Technology in Gene Editing.

It takes time and engaged learning to enable a deeper understanding of concepts and skills. In order to achieve this, we have designed these workshops to be residential. Selected students will arrive on Saturday morning and leave on Sunday evening. This will give much needed time and intellectual space to :

- Engage in guided inquiry-based laboratory work,

- Deep discussions (both via instructor-student and peer interactions), and

- Time to unwind and assimilate the learnings

- Experience the fun Samoscience with Genesis - The Life Sciences Society

- Experience amazing stories in virtual reality

Workshop details:

Each workshop is limited to 12 students

Biology undergraduate (BSc) students in any year are eligible to apply

Workshop fee (including accommodation) is ₹6000 + 18% GST = ₹7080

Students who express interest in the workshops are selected based on their statement of interest (in the below form). Selected

students will be informed about fee payment details and given a stipulated time to remit the payment
