The Mystery of the Invisible Universe: A Window to New Physics

Abstract :
Cosmological observations have confirmed that only 4-5% of the total energy content in the Universe emits light and hence visible. The rest 95-96% of the energy content of the Universe is invisible and can only be detected through their gravitational interactions. This invisible Universe has tremendous potential for testing physics beyond our standard understanding of physical interactions and to reveal new physics that may play an important role in the Universe at large cosmological scales.
In this talk, I shall introduce these invisible Universe at pedagogical level and also briefly discuss the current and future efforts to unravel the mysteries of the dark Universe, including those in which India is actively involved.

All are cordially invited.
