Groove and Mudra - Annual Intra-College Western and Classical Dance Competition



As the academic year comes to a close, Inferno is excited to end the semester with a bang! We bring to you our last event of Spring '24. We are pleased to invite everyone to our annual intra-college Western and Classical dance competitions, Groove and Mudra! The stage is open to all, regardless of whether you are trained or simply want to be on the stage. Spectators are also very welcome to join and witness the performances! The competitions have no registration fee, no restrictions on the dance form, and Inferno members will not be competing in them. General Rules:

1. Time limit for Groove: 2 to 4 minutes 
2. Time limit for Mudra: 3 to 5 minutes
3. Performances can be solo or duet.
4. Mudra performances can be classical, semi-classical or folk.
5. Participants can register for both Groove and Mudra.
6. There is no registration fee. 
7. Only non-inferno members can participate in the competitions. This includes students from UG/PG/PhD courses and faculty as well.
8. Please inform the core before using any props on the stage.
9. The winners (one for Groove and one for Mudra) will receive an Amazon gift voucher worth Rs. 1000 each and an offer for a direct entry into Inferno!
