Fifth Macroeconomics Conference, 2026



A brief of the event: The Fifth Macroeconomics Conference, organized by the Department of Economics at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi–NCR, will be held on 16th and 17th January 2026. The conference aims to provide a platform for rigorous academic exchange on contemporary issues in macroeconomics, bringing together faculty members, researchers, and senior Ph.D. scholars from institutions across India.

The conference will feature paper presentations covering a broad range of topics in macroeconomics, including growth, business cycles, monetary and fiscal policy, development macroeconomics, and labor markets. Each session will include discussions led by invited experts, fostering constructive feedback and in-depth scholarly dialogue.

Through keynote addresses and paper discussions, the conference seeks to encourage high-quality research, promote collaboration among researchers, and contribute to policy-relevant macroeconomic debates in the Indian context.
