Career development Centre Presents Alumni Talk Series on "Multidisciplinary Advantage: Career in Minor"
While an undergraduate major is indeed crucial, the edge given by a well-intentioned minor can help you branch out and be extremely beneficial to make cross-connections to enhance the importance of multidisciplinary education.
Meet our alumni, Harish Venkatesh, B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, minor in Design (Class of 2016), and Bhargavi Gopalan, B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, minor in Dance (Class of 2016), who will be joining us this Tuesday (22 February 2022) to shed light on the value and direction a minor can provide in unlocking new frontiers.
Through college as students and then as life partners and entrepreneurs, Harish and Bhargavi have completed quite an adventure together. Harish, who is the founder of Frozen Iris – a design studio – has been helping businesses grow over the past three years through first principles in design, while Bhargavi – who is a passionate dancer – is determined to transform the world with her art. Working in the education sector, Bhargavi and Harish might be worlds apart in their professions but share an affinity to transform education through art forms.
These two people have charted their journey together and are joining us to share their experience, ideas, and converse with the students to make the most of the resources available.
If you are someone who wants to explore multidisciplinary education with a minor and how to identify key areas traversing your own journey, then do join us on 22 February 2022 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM at D330.
To attend the session, kindly fill in the form.
