The Department of International Relations and Governance Studies invites you to a discussion on the book titled ‘China’s Search for ‘National Rejuvenation’: Domestic and Foreign Policies under Xi Jinping (2020)’ on April 1. Discussants include Co-editor of the book Dr. Jabin Thomas Jacob, Associate Professor, Department of International Relations and Governance Studies, Shiv Nadar University; Mr. Aravind Yelery, Senior Research Fellow at HSBC Business School, Peking University, Beijing/Shenzhen; and Dr. Prashant Kumar Singh, Associate Fellow, Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi.

About the Discussants
Jabin T. Jacob 
is Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations and Governance Studies at the Shiv Nadar University, India and Adjunct Research Fellow at the National Maritime Foundation, New Delhi. He was formerly Fellow and Assistant Director at the Institute of Chinese Studies, Delhi and Associate Editor of the journal China Report.

Aravind Yelery is Senior Research Fellow (Associate Professor grade) at HSBC Business School, Peking University (PHBS), Beijing/Shenzhen; Visiting Faculty at Fudan School of Management, Shanghai; and Indian Institute of Management, Shillong. He is also the Adjunct Fellow at the Institute of Chinese Studies, New Delhi. He was formerly an Associate Fellow and Assistant Director at the Institute of Chinese Studies, Delhi, India. He has recently co-edited a book titled Tailspin: The Politics of India-China Economic Relations.

Prashant Kumar Singh is Associate Fellow at the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses. He holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Studies from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi and is a recipient of several fellowships and grants from Taiwan. His current research focuses on the place of foreign relations and security in Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s concept of the "Chinese Dream".
