Bringing together scholars from India and abroad, this conference — on 28–29 August 2025 at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi NCR, will dive deep into the theme, “Evolving State-Society Relations”.
Co-organized by the Centre of Excellence for Himalayan Studies (CHS), Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS), New Delhi, and the MIT School of Government, MIT World Peace University, Pune, the conference explores how the China's Communist Party-state negotiates power, reforms, and innovation - shaping governance at home and projecting influence globally.
