Applications are invited for a temporary position of Project Associate-I in a DST-funded research project on ‘3D printed flexible and wearable soft sensors’ theme in the Flexible Bioelectronics and Wearables Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNIoE) Deemed to Be University, Delhi NCR, India. The goal of the project is to develop a new class of nanomaterials doped lattice-based soft sensors for next-generation wearable devices tailored towards human motion monitoring applications. The successful candidate would primarily work on exploring auxetic structures-based 3D printed sensors for neuromorphic sensing.

Project duration: 6 months. The post is temporary, with the possibility of PhD enrollment upon successful evaluation at the end of the tenure.
Eligibility: B.E. / B.Tech in EE / ECE / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Electronics or equivalent from a recognised university. Prior background in electronics and material synthesis is essential. Desirable: Experience in polymers, functional materials, 3D printing, MEMS and polymer-nanomaterial composites.
Emoluments: Rs. 37000/-+ HRA for candidates having valid GATE/CSIR/UGC NET scores. Rs. 30000/-+ HRA for candidates not having any valid test scores. No TA and DA are applicable for this position.
