Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ARNF-sponsored project, “Exploiting the fitness cost of transforming growth factor-b signaling pathway-dependency of chemotherapy-resistant, senescent triple negative breast cancer cells: An evolution-guided therapeutic approach”, under the Principal Investigator, Dr. Anindita Chakrabarty, Department of Life Sciences (DLS), School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNIoE), Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, 201314 (U.P.).

The position/s is temporary and is available immediately.  Applications are accepted till 15th September 2025.

Required qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with any National level Test (NET, GATE etc.) qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with National Level Test qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.

The candidate is required to have excellent hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, zebrafish and rodent handling, qPCR, Western blot, confocal microscopy, recombinant protein expression and purification, UV-VIS spectroscopy, CD spectroscopy, and Mass spectrometry.

Fellowship: As per ARNF norm.

Duration: The contract shall remain in effect until October 9, 2026.

Project Description: The project aims to examine if TGF-b pathway inhibition can interfere with evolution of chemotherapy-resistance in Triple negative breast cancer.
