Department of Computer Science & Engineering Ph.D. Program (Monsoon 2026)
- Objectives
The Ph.D. program is designed to prepare students for enriching careers in academia and research labs. The demand for high-quality PhD scholars is increasing across the country, creating a widening gap between demand and supply. Depending on their academic preparation, admitted candidates are exposed to a wide range of core and elective courses with an in-depth syllabus. In addition, students write a research proposal and start pursuing research that culminates in a Ph.D. thesis. Such an excellent combination of academic rigour in subject matter and in-depth research equips Ph.D at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering with the strong knowledge and research skills necessary for highly productive careers.
