Advanced Physics Laboratory

Advanced Physics Laboratory provides the second and third-year undergraduate students a platform to learn some of the basic laws of physics by doing experiments. Here we cover experiments based on Thermodynamics, Optics and Modern Physics. Some of the experiments we regularly offer are diffraction of light, Newton’s ring, Michelson interferometer, thermal conductivity, Seebeck effect, e/m ratio, Planck’s constant, photovoltaic effect, etc. A project component has commonly been introduced in both of our regular Advanced Level courses. This helps students to grow confidence to solve problems related to the topics covers in the respective course.
