Admission Process

WE HAVE UPDATED OUR ADMISSIONS PROCESS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY & HEALTH  OF  OUR  ASPIRANTS AMIDST  COVID-19  PANDEMIC

Shiv Nadar University is committed to ensuring that students continue their education without interruption during the exceptional circumstances of COVID-19. At the same time, the safety and health of our students and candidates remain our priority. The rapidly unfolding challenges caused by the spread of COVID-19 have led us to update our admissions process for our undergraduate programs.

Shiv Nadar University’s International Admission process is as follow:

a. Apply Through SAT 2020 & 2021 (College Board) Scores.

b. Apply Through ACT scores

c. Apply Through SNUSAT and APT (Offline or Pearson Vue Centre)  

d. Apply Through JEE Mains (2020 & 2021) Scores

Details of the updated process is as follows:

I. Apply Through SAT (College Board) Scores

The prospective candidates can apply through SAT scores in addition to other modes of admissions (but only once). The shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding a personal interview with respective department to be eligible for final selection.

II. Apply Through ACT scores

The prospective candidates can apply through ACT scores in addition to other modes of admissions (but only once). The shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding a personal interview with respective department to be eligible for final selection.

III. Apply Through SNUSAT and APT

Candidates can apply through SNUSAT and APT test. The shortlisted candidates (after SNUSAT and APT) will be informed regarding their personal interview with respective department to be eligible for final selection. (In Case of School of Engineering, the candidates are not required to appear for an interview.)

IV. Apply Through JEE Mains Scores

  1. Candidates applying through JEE Mains 2020 & 2021 score of 80 percentile or above are eligible for direct offer of admission on the basis of
    • JEE Mains 2020 & 2021 score
    • Cut-off score decided by the University for various Departments of School of Engineering & School of Natural Sciences
  2. If the candidate has less than 80 percentile in JEE Mains 2020 & 2021, they are advised to apply through the SNUSAT & APT tests

 

Please refer to the general guidelines below:

  1. Submission of application in the earliest possible round will increase the possibility of getting the program/stream of the candidate's choice.
  2. If the class XII results are not available with the applicant at the time of admissions,the candidate shall be offered a provisional admission subject to their fulfilment of other requirements and qualifications in all the stages of the admission process.The selection will be based on a Composite score of Class XII examinations,if the class 12th scores are not available at the time of the admission process, they can be submitted once available.
  3. We have introduced remote proctoring of our tests (SNUSAT & APT), thus, allowing you to take SNUSAT and APT in the safety of your home. The AI based test will be monitored by a proctor from our testing partner Pearson VUE. Candidates can also appear for the tests at Pearson center. Either of the mode can be selected.
