The Young Scientist Program in collaboration with the school of natural science

Building on the success of the Summer School held in June’22, we are pleased to announce a new program under the Young Thinkers Forum which is focused on science - The Young Scientist Program. It’s designed for students who are keen on pursuing science in higher education.

The program will introduce young scientists to the frontiers of thinking in biomedical research. They will explore topics focused on Microbial Diversity with 16S rRNA profiling, Recombinant protein production & purification and CRISPR - Cas technology in gene editing. Eminent faculty members of the University, who are at the forefront of research in these fields, will anchor these sessions in state-of-the-art laboratories.

We will introduce students to background knowledge, experimental methods and technical skills involved in addressing focused research questions based on the theme of the workshop. Based on the training received, students will design their own research questions and perform experiments to address them during the workshop.

In addition, the young scientists will also get a chance to explore and appreciate the unique campus culture at Shiv NadarUniversity, Delhi NCR; with several skill-building workshops, sports sessions and fun activities planned on our 286-acre campus.

Note: Last date of registration: 30-06-2022
