The Security and Privacy group at Shiv Nadar University's Computer Science Department is dedicated to performing cutting-edge research in critical network and systems security areas.

This research includes the design, analysis, and implementation of new methods for system and network reliability/availability, botnet detection, automated patching, host and network-based intrusion detection system, applications of peer-to-peer networks, denial of service attacks, and anomaly analysis. We are broadly interested in most of the systems security problems, including but not limited to virtualization security, binary analysis of code, web and cloud safety, mobile security, and IoT security. We are also working actively on System Vulnerability, Security issues in Internet protocols, Network defense tools, Unwanted traffic, Viruses and Malware, security issues in Wireless Networks, Social Networks, and spam.
