Astroparticle Physics
According to the present understanding, the smallest building blocks of nature, the particles, play an important role in the evolution of our Universe.
While much has been revealed about the history of cosmic evolution, many things remain an experimentally undetermined mystery, especially in the early universe. For example, there are still no direct experimental results on the nature of Dark Matter, which accounts for about 27% of the energy budget in the universe. Our research focuses on understanding the smallest building blocks of nature and their role in the evolution of our Universe at the largest length scales in the light of experimental and observational data from particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology.
