General Physics Teaching Laboratory
The General Physics Laboratory offer students, experiential learning by doing experiments on ideas that are taught in the First year of introductory courses in Physics. The experiments are mainly based on Newtonian mechanics, electromagnetism, optics and fluid dynamics. The fundamental ideas of these concepts are inculcated to the students through exhaustive lectures and tutorial classes. This laboratory comprises of students spanning across departments in engineering and non-physics majors (PHY101, PHY102), physics majors (PHY103, PHY104) and students not having backgrounds in mathematics and physics (PHY108).
