Vijay Kumar Chakka (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, India, in 1991, the M.Tech. degree from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Kurukshetra, India, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India, in 2004, all in ECE. He was an Associate Professor with the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar, from 2002 to 2013. He was also an Adjunct Associate Professor with IIT Gandhinagar from 2010 to 2012. He has been working as a Professor with Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, India, since 2014. Before joining DA-IICT, he worked as a Senior Lecturer with the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, from 1994 to 2002. He worked as a Consultant for DRDO India, NSTL Vizag, and many private companies in the area of digital signal processing and wireless communication. His research interests are signal representation, signal design for 5G and pre-coder designs for wireless communication, and bio medical applications. He was a Secretary to the IEEE Communication Chapter of IEEE Gujarat Section from 2010 to 2012.
