Snigdha Banerjee considers herself a female Ravana, disguising her ten creative heads under the veil of storytelling. She holds an M.Des in Animation Film Design from the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay, and has completed the Design Educators Program from NID Ahmedabad. Besides, she is a visiting faculty at esteemed institutions such as IICD Jaipur, IILM Gurugram, NID Kurukshetra, and Jamia Millia Islamia. She also established and led the Department of Animation and Motion Graphics at the United World Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. As a perpetual learner, Snigdha seamlessly blends the boundaries of Literature, Visual Art, and Performing Art. Her research interests encompass Visual Narrative, its evolution with cinema/animation, and the influence of Indian art and aesthetics on Visual Communication. Additionally, she is dedicated to documenting diverse cultures and their practices, enrolling in various courses from prestigious institutions like FTII Pune, IDC IIT Bombay, and Allameh Tabataba'i University in Iran. In her personal time, Snigdha engages in riyaaz for the sitar and practices Modern Contemporary and Classical Bharatnatyam dance forms.
