Komal Malik served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel for July 2022-June 2024. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, under the guidance of Prof. Debasis Mishra, specializing in auction theory, market design, and robust mechanism design.
Her ongoing work includes developing optimal security bid auctions with flexible information acquisition, analysis of security bid auctions in drainage-tract model and research contests
