Dr. Jitendra Prajapati is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (IoE), Greater Noida, India. He received his Ph.D. in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in 2018, where his doctoral research focused on analytical and simulation modeling of terahertz photoconductive antennas. Prior to joining Shiv Nadar IoE, he served as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Sikkim.
Dr. Prajapati’s research interests include terahertz and millimeter-wave antenna systems, photoconductive and photomixing antennas, orbital angular momentum (OAM) antennas, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), and antenna technologies for emerging 5G and 6G communication systems. His work integrates analytical modeling, numerical simulations, and system-level design approaches to address challenges in next-generation wireless and sensing technologies.
He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed journal publications and over 25 conference papers in reputed international venues. He has successfully completed sponsored research projects funded by national agencies, including DRDO, and has supervised doctoral and undergraduate research projects in advanced antenna and electromagnetic systems. Dr. Prajapati is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), and actively serves as a reviewer for several international journals.
In addition to research and teaching, he actively contributes to academic administration, student mentoring, and curriculum development within the university.
