Ananda Krishnan S K is an artist/ researcher born in Kerala. He has obtained Ph. D in Design from IIT Hyderabad and MFA in painting from University of Hyderabad. His works ranges from painting, Photography and Installation and his works deals with the idea of homeland and the inherent violence in imagining it. His practice is a dialogue with his own times and its socio political conditions. Cartography and cues from the cyber world are used as a conceptual and visual framework in his works that critically engage with the discourse on homeland.
