Semiconductor Physics Laboratory

How do electrons behave in semiconductor materials? What are the physical mechanisms governing electricity-to-light OR light-to-electricity conversion in semiconductor-based devices? Our research aims to answer these basic physics questions in pursuit of energy-efficient and eco-friendly organic material based solar cells, LEDs, thin film transistors and bio-sensors. The research activities at this lab broadly focus on processing and characterizations of organic semiconductors and organic-inorganic hybrid devices.
