Biography

Mr. Noriaki ABE is a career diplomat and presently serving as Minister, Political Affairs at the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi, India. He joined Japan’s foreign service in 1997 and served in multiple roles at the Embassy in Beijing (2013), the Delegation to the OECD in Paris, the G7/G20 Sherpa team of MOFA (2018), the Director for International Trade (WTO/WIPO), the Cabinet Secretariat, and Press Affairs Director at MOFA in 2023.
