Faculty at School of Engineering
Dr. Karnish Tapadar received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and her M.Tech. from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, where she was awarded the Institute Gold Medal for academic excellence. She has previously served as an Assistant Professor at CV Raman Global University and as a Teaching Assistant at IIT Guwahati, where she also mentored M.Tech. students in their thesis work. She qualified GATE in 2016 and UGC-NET in 2018 and received the MHRD Fellowship for her doctoral research. She has also received travel grants to present her research at national and international conferences. Her research focuses on IoT network protocols, edge intelligence, ML/DL-assisted IoT systems, and Industrial IoT applications. She has published in journals and international conferences and has worked as a Senior Research Fellow on two SERB-funded projects. Her work also involves IoT simulation, protocol testing, and experimental evaluation of resource-constrained networks.
