- Adaptive Cell Scheduling Function of 6TiSCH Network for Efficient Data Communication in Industrial IoT
Sponsor: Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India (under SRG scheme)
Duration: Dec’2019 - Jun’2022 (As part of my Ph.D. thesis work)
Designation: Senior Research Fellow
Project Overview: This project aims to develop enhanced link scheduling functions for 6TiSCH networks for efficient management of TSCH cells used in data communication, focusing on enhancing the network's performance in the context of IIoT.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Manas Khatua, IIT Guwahati
Publications: ICDCN’22, ICSTE’23, COMSNETS’24, Elsevier ADHOC’24
- Security-by-Design in IoT: Securing IoT Protocols against Cyber Attacks in Industrial IoT Applications
Sponsor: Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India (under CRG Scheme)
Duration: Dec’2024 - Jun’2027 (As part of my Ph.D. thesis work)
Designation: Senior Research Fellow
Project Overview: The main goal is to investigate and design security schemes for 6TiSCH IoT protocols. Often, IoT protocol designs overlook security during control message exchanges, creating vulnerabilities that can be exploited. Therefore, incorporating security into the design of each protocol in 6TiSCH networks is crucial. Specifically, I aim to secure the link scheduler MSF and the associated 6P protocol.
