Protein Structure Biology Laboratory

Our research interests have focused on the functional characterization of essential metabolic or therapeutically important proteins aiming to develop new drugs/therapeutics against pathogenic diseases like Tuberculosis (TB).

We use various biochemical and biophysical techniques to characterize the potential drug target proteins. The main emphasis of our lab is to determine the protein's three-dimensional structure using X-ray crystallography or Cryo-EM to elucidate the molecular mechanism and use this structural information for Structure-Based Drug Designing (SBDD).
