Satyam is the Programme Manager at the Centre of Excellence for Himalayan Studies (CHS), SNIOE. With a professional background spanning 6 years, he has gained experience across various sectors, including think tanks, NGOs, and universities, to name a few. His expertise encompasses institutional outreach, marketing, strategic communications, project management, budget management, event and management.
Prior to his role at CHS, Satyam has worked with distinguished organizations like the National Maritime Foundation and O.P. Jindal Global University, among others. At CHS, he assumes responsibility for overseeing all administrative aspects, ensuring the smooth functioning of the centre.
In his career journey, Satyam has established strong connections within the strategic community and engaged with key stakeholders in policy-making. These engagements have spanned scholars, consultants, academic institutions, media outlets, NGOs, embassies, high commissions, and several government ministries.
His commitment to social welfare is also notable. Satyam dedicated a year to working with Tihar Jail through the Samarpan Foundation, New Delhi, focusing on skill development. Additionally, he served as a social worker at the Samarpan Foundation's Children's Home and Akshay Pratishthan, a school offering inclusive education. At the grassroots level, he executed an education awareness project in 2013, targeting the enrollment of children from migrant worker families into NGO-run schools in South Delhi's Masoodpur locality.
