Pursuing better descriptions of quantum physical processes in Quantum Field Theory

Although quantum field theory has developed as a tool for the systematic analysis of quantum many-body problems, further precise instrumentation is sometimes needed to describe and understand quantum processes precisely. We are particularly concerned with this challenge from the aspects of (i) describing the normalised transition probabilities of quantum-theoretic particles in wave packet form and (ii) computing the expectation values of regularised quantum-theoretic composite operators in the gradient flow method.
