VLSI and Microelectronics

The VLSI & Microelectronics Research Group focuses on research in VLSI architecture, reliability-aware design, embedded systems, and mixed-signal VLSI, aiming to develop efficient and reliable hardware solutions for next-generation computing, communication, and IoT applications.

The group is engaged in high-quality research in the following areas:

  • Reliability-aware CMOS circuit design, in-memory computing and novel logic architectures.
  • VLSI architecture, and FPGA-based system design.
  • VLSI for baseband wireless communication, satellite systems, and digital beamforming.
  • Energy-efficient embedded systems and IoT sensor nodes.
  • Mixed-signal VLSI design and DTCO methodologies
  • Smart VLSI involving integrated multiple technologies
