The Students’ Biennale, organized by the Kochi Muziris Biennale Foundation, is currently online. It includes five curations by individual artist curators who have been involved with education since several years. Prof. Vasudha Thozhur, Dept. of Art and Performing Arts, reviewed applications from art schools in the States of Jammu, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi/NCR and Gujarat. Five workshops were also developed, and the work produced is featured on the website. Along with the four other curations, it comprises a broad representation of what students are engaging with all over the country at this crucial and troubled juncture in history.
