Job Description 

Roles & Responsibilities-

  1. Operations and maintainability of Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) lab. He will be solely responsible for performing the testing and analysis of the samples from all departments of the university.
  2. Operating the Universal tensile testing machine for the samples from outside the lab.
  3. Assisting in the operations of the Metallic 3D printer for the department’s student and faculty.
  4. Assisting the students in the operations of the universal tribometer and Goniometer and conducting the testing for the sample from the other labs and departments.

Essential Qualification-

Ph.D. in Mechanical/Materials science/Physics and having first class and equivalent grade in the preceding degrees with a good academic record throughout.
or
M.Sc./M.Tech in above domains with a minimum of 2 years of experience in working with materials processing and characterization instruments (referred in Experience).

Desired Qualification-

Experience in operations of Electron microscope, knowledge of 3D printer. The candidate should have demonstrated research capabilities in terms of publication in reputed international journals and conferences.

Experience Range (Yrs.)-  0-5 Years

Key Skills (Mandatory)-

  1. Handling and operations of electron microscope.
  2. Able to handle different mechanical testing equipment.

Key Skills (Desired but Optional)-

  1. Demonstrated Research capability.
  2. Training to students.
  3. Publications.
