Research Associate

Applications are invited for one Research Associate (RA) position in a DBT-Wellcome trust India Alliance funded research project entitled “Investigation of structure-dynamics-function relationship of gene regulatory noncoding RNAs at the single molecule level”, under the supervision of Dr. Bidyut Sarkar, Department of Chemistry, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence Demmed to be University, Delhi-NCR, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh-201314. Essential and Desirable Qualifications

• Essential: Ph.D. degree in Science or Engineering with good academic record.

Note: Candidates who have not been awarded Ph.D. degree, but submitted their thesis may also apply. However, such applicant, if selected, will be offered lower fellowship amount till they qualify the eligible degree.

• Desirable: Candidates with experience in single molecule fluorescnce spectroscopy/ DNA-RNA biophysics will be given preference.

Duration of the project:

Till March 2029, to be extended annually based on fund availability as well as a satisfactory assessment of progress.

Stipend: As per DST/DBT approved norms.
