Roles & Responsibilities

  1. To maintain records of all essential documents at the department. This includes minutes of all department meetings, and all activities organized by the department along with relevant databases of students, faculty and alumni of the department.
  2. To assist in the everyday functioning of the department with all administrative requirements and calendar management. To maintain a contact list of domain experts and stakeholders.
  3. To streamline processes relating to all administrative work at the department. To work as SPOC on behalf of the Department for intra-university communication.
  4. To assist with budgeting and other financial activities.
  5. To coordinate workshops, conferences and events organized by the department both within SNIOE and outside in other institutional environments.
  6. To contribute to coordination with regard to the external outreach of the department and coordinate orientation workshops for new entrants at the department. To act as the department point of contact for external communications as and when instructed by the Head of Department.
  7. To work with the marketing team on all work relating to brochures or publicity.
  8. To edit and curate newsletters and press releases as and when required by the Department.


Qualification: Preferably a holder of a postgraduate degree

Required competency / key Skills:

  1. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other related applications.
  2. English language competence – oral and written.
