About the Project
This project aims to develop next-generation functionalized polybenzoxazine thermosets with on-demand degradability to address sustainability challenges associated with conventional thermosetting materials. The research involves the design, synthesis, modification, and characterization of novel benzoxazine monomers and polymers along with structure–property studies.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and synthesize novel functional monomers and polymers.
- Conduct polymerization studies and materials development.
- Perform structural characterization using modern analytical techniques.
- Investigate rheological, thermal, and thermomechanical properties of polymers.
- Establish structure–property relationships.
- Prepare manuscripts, reports, patents, and presentations.
- Contribute to collaborative research and laboratory management.
Essential Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry from a recognized university/institute.
- Expertise in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, or Green Chemistry.
- Hands-on experience in synthetic chemistry and laboratory research.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in organic and/or polymer synthesis.
- Knowledge of polymer characterization techniques.
- Experience with rheological measurements and thermal analysis.
- Experience with NMR, FTIR, DSC, TGA, GPC, and related analytical tools.
- Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
Duration
One year.
