Role and Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all civil infrastructure and facilities.
- Monitor and track maintenance activities to ensure compliance with schedules and standards.
- Ensure day-to-day handling of maintenance-related tickets and complaints.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely resolution as per defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
2. Civil Project Planning & BOQ Preparation
- Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for civil works.
- Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and site requirements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimation for projects.
- Assist in tendering, vendor evaluation, and contract finalization.
3.Project Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee execution of civil engineering projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per specifications.
- Supervise contractors, vendors, and site teams for quality and progress.
4.Billing and Cost Control
- Prepare and verify contractor bills as per work completed.
- Ensure proper measurement and documentation for billing.
- Track project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Maintain records for invoices, work orders, and payment certifications.
5.Operational Efficiency
- Oversee daily civil engineering operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
6.Quality Control and Assurance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality of work.
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions.
7.Budget and Cost Management
- Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance and projects.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
8.Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
9.Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, projects, BOQs, billing, and ticketing activities.
- Prepare progress reports and performance summaries.
Qualification: Bachelor of Technology (Civil Engineering)/Diploma in civil engineering
Required competency / key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure maintenance and facility management practices.
- Ability to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Good understanding of quality control standards and inspection processes.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource management.
- Project management skills for handling small to mid-scale civil works.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and record management.
- Good communication, leadership, and team management skills.
